Search the internet using programs
called webcrawlers or spiders.
Look for your topic
using keywords or phrases

TIP: too many results? try to use more specific words.

Directories are catalogued by human editors into organized categories.
Yahoo.com is probably the most well known commercial site directory.

Email: Get a personal email account
Don't allow your email address to be published in any directory available on the internet.
Otherwise, you will be be getting Spam (unsolicited junk mail, a huge internet problem).
Tip: Make it more dificult for Spam to find you:
Create an email address with a combination of letters & numbers easy for you to remember.
