Aloha Farmers Market Vendors and Patrons:

Hale Halawai's primary purpose in hosting a Saturday morning market is to serve our community by connecting them with local produce directly from farmers.   

We embrace this opportunity to connect neighbors and help folks stay healthy, but are also very mindful that our community center should not inappropriately contribute to the increasing tourism-based commercialism of our small town.    Vendors who serve residents do best at our market. 

Hale Halawai also gives preference to vendors that best match these criteria:

• Halele'a resident vendors (Anahola to Haena)
• Add to the market's variety and diversity
• Have smaller operations /  family businesses
• Farmers who sell produce grown by themselves, neighbors and ohana
• Crafter selling items made by themselves, or othershere on Kauai (artisan guild ok)
• Crafts made from locally available materials or while practicing local arts
• Prepared Food complies with health laws, proof of certified kitchen and insurance
