The Hawaii Health Portal (funded by National Library of Medicine) has lots of options. 

 

Check out their Native Hawaiian Health links which include links for Asians, Pacific islanders and Native Americans.  Other choices include consumer health links, a medical library, even link to a live librarian.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention includes resources about diseases, conditions and other special topics arranged A-Z, travelers health, health topics in the news and health hoaxes.

 

The Mayo Clinic includes health info and interactive tools to assist consumer to manage health and health risks as does www.yourdiseaserisk.harvard.edu

 

www.nationalhealthcouncil.org has a directory of all national health organizations like advocacy & education, professional groups, medical agencies and businesses.

 

Nat'l Institute for Mental Health has an amazing variety of FREE brochures you can read online or ORDER.  Lots of topics relating to teen issues.

 

Medem.com facilitates online access to information and care for more than 90,000 physicians, their practices and their patients.

 

www.drugdigest.org allows users to check for drug interactions and side effects and compare different medications, search for generics, cites appropriate uses.
